ROC the day
ROC’ING FOR MCC
MCC President Dr. DeAnna Burt-Nanna, Foundation directors, and the MCC community and supporters came together on November 29 to ROC the Day for the collegeʼs students and programs. Under the tremendous leadership and generosity of ROC the Day for MCC co-chairs Maureen Wolfe and Patty Redding, who matched donations up to $5,000, we raised $23,408 from 60 donors in 24 hours!
It truly was a community effort, with the MCC bookstore selling ROC the Day branded items and donating the proceeds while Sodexo, MCCʼs dining services provider, donated ROC the Day cookies, which Foundation staff delivered to departments on campus and to a few select donors. Funds raised through ROC the Day fuel student success and break down the financial barriers that may prevent students from earning their degrees or certificates.
